Sat Rally

Bitcoin, served on clay

Sat
Rally

Welcome to the only court where the ball is optic yellow, the lines are bright white and the 21 million cap never gets a line call. Rally against the CPU, learn to keep score like the chair umpire, then track a whole match point by point. No signup, no downloads, no waiting for the court to dry.

Deuce court

The Rally

Top-down court with a yellow ball curving across the net

A top-down clay court, a yellow ball with real spin on it, and a CPU opponent who never gets tired but does get greedy. Slide your racket, sweep across the ball to bend it, and go bold when you feel lucky. Keyboard, mouse and touch all work.

Prefer calm? Turn-based mode lets you call every shot with a button. No motion needed.

The Score

  1. Love
  2. 15
  3. 30
  4. 40
  5. Game

Love, fifteen, thirty, forty: tennis counts like nothing else on earth. The primer walks you through points, games, sets, deuce, advantage and the tiebreak, in plain sentences with no hand waving.

Then use the point tracker. Tap a point, watch the scoreboard flip, hit undo when your thumb slips. It keeps a full log you can print or copy.

Read the rules

At the net: six Bitcoin facts

Short, certain and not for sale. No prices, no predictions, no tips. Just the rules of the game, the way the court has lines.

  • 21,000,000

    The supply cap

Bitcoin's rules cap the supply at 21 million coins. Fixed court size. Nobody gets to repaint the lines mid-match.

  • ~10 min

    The serve clock

The network aims for a new block about every ten minutes. It is a target, not a stopwatch: some blocks arrive fast, some take their sweet time.

  • 210,000

    The changeover

Every 210,000 blocks the reward for adding a block is cut in half. At target pace that is roughly every four years. Same game, smaller prize.

  • SHA-256

    The line judge

Proof of work leans on SHA-256: laborious to produce, instant to check. The rally takes forever. The call takes a blink.

  • UTXO

    The ball hopper

Bitcoin tracks unspent transaction outputs. You spend whole ones and collect change. You cannot slice a ball in half to pay for a towel.

  • 100,000,000

    Sats per bitcoin

One satoshi, a sat, is a hundred-millionth of a bitcoin. Sat Rally is named for that tiny, brilliant unit.

Practice court

Eight Drills

Eight original training drills, each one borrowing a Bitcoin idea and turning it into reps: a capped ball basket, a ten-minute block, a halving challenge and more. Filter them, build a session, print it, take it to a real court.

Match history, two lines long

  • 2008

The Bitcoin whitepaper is published: the first draft of how the whole game works.

  • Jan 2009

The genesis block opens the chain. Every block since links back to it, like every rally links back to a first serve.

How a visit goes

  1. Play a rally on the clay and see how spin bends a shot.
  2. Read the scoring primer so love, deuce and advantage stop sounding like riddles.
  3. Track a real match on the tracker, then grab a drill or two for the next practice.

Line judge's note. Sat Rally is independent and for fun. It is not affiliated with any tennis tour, tournament, player, club or Bitcoin company, and it names none. Nothing here is investment advice or a prediction of any kind.
